Greetings to my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Another year and a half have gone by and I was Priested in June 2019.
The Lord has been gracious to me and has afforded me the time and inclination to follow this amazing calling, to be a minister in the Mease Valley Benefice to which I am daily reminded that I am so blessed to be a part of God’s amazing plan.
Here I am with Bishop Clive last June, it was a beautiful sunny and hot day, we didn’t have many last year!
The following day was a joint service at Elford St Peter’s, and we came together to celebrate the Lord’s Supper: my first as Presider at the Lord’s table. An emotional and memorable day, for everyone, I think. We had a guest preacher, Revd. William Bates, who was the first person to set me on my journey with Christ, I will be forever grateful to him.
Revd. William has been such a wonderful influence on my life and my journey with Christ.
So, our ministry team looks like this:
I still pinch myself, most mornings, to think that I am a priest and can offer myself as Jesus’ disciple, His hands, feet, eyes and ears, it is totally baffling!
But as God says in Jeremiah ‘He knows the plans for me’ and what plans they are and have been, my life has changed in so many ways and I am so grateful to my family and my husband, Phillip, for being part of this rollercoaster ride, for the highs and the lows, more highs than lows, to be fair! And to all of you as you continue to support me in my ministry, God Bless you all.
We had cake too and it was beautiful…
