Welcome to our Mease Valley Churches site.

The announcement of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Thursday Sept 8th.

Changes to our Sunday service schedule.

Dear friends in the Mease Valley, (Saturday Sept 10th)
There are few words to express the sadness and upheaval of the events of these last few days as the news was announced on Thursday evening about the death of our Queen.
In light of this, conversation was had yesterday (Friday Sept 9th) with Edingale congregation and with those expected to be going to Chilcote church for harvest services this weekend.  It was felt right to change both services to reflect the moods of our country.
Edingale summer fair will continue today, Saturday 10th September, from 1pm-6pm opening with a prayer and some silence too.
Edingale church will now hold a Holy Communion service on Sunday morning on the 11th September at 10.15am to remember the Queen.

Chilcote church will now hold an evensong on Sunday afternoon at 4.00pm on the 11th September in memory of the Queen
