To request a wedding:

During Non- Covid Times:

If you would like to request a wedding or a renewal of vows service, or perhaps the calling of Banns, please contact Revd. John Grice to arrange to come to the next available ‘vicar’s hour’ These take place at St. Andrew’s Church, Clifton Campville on a monthly Monday evening at 7.30pm or at 8.30pm. Revd. John Grice and Revd. Nicola Busby both take these (meetings are not usually held in August or December) Contact (01827) 373 257. Or email revjohngrice@gmail.com

We do not take bookings for weddings over text or email, or the phone without first meeting (over Zoom during the covid period, or in person at services if these are taking place).

During Covid Times:

While we are not able to meet in person, meetings can still take place over ‘Zoom’ and also on Sundays, where services remain open. Weddings are legally binding ceremonies, with promises made that are relationship changing. We do not book dates over email or text messages. Instead we speak on the phone, check I.D and seek to work together to look at marriage and the journey it entails.  We are currently Taking bookings with couples looking at 2024 and 2025.

Please complete our application form by clicking here.

Bring your form along to your Vicars hour (or zoom meeting) with your proof of address and I.D documents. It is not our policy to make wedding bookings or to book dates over the phone without having met in person with you both first. Some of our church buildings are quite cosy and only two of our village Churches (Clifton and Elford) will hold up to 200 people. (During Covid Times, numbers have been limited by the government, do please ask about this.)
