Small Groups

Most weeks, across the Mease Valley, small groups of people meet informally in the privacy of someone’s home, for worship; to discuss biblical stories and apply them to topical issues from everyday life. Time is also set aside, at every meeting, for prayer and fellowship.
I wonder if for you, as for many people, Sundays are very busy, taken up with family or work commitments. If this sounds like you and you have difficulty in getting to a church service on a Sunday then one of our Small Groups could meet your spiritual needs. There is always an open invitation to join one of the small groups.Groups are made up of people from different traditions and at different stages of their journey of faith and this is to let you know that there will be some changes to the arrangements for these starting in January ’17. The topics to be followed during 2017 will include looking in detail at the set readings for the previous Sunday which is by request of some of our members. We are also looking at other types of course which should appeal to those who may be interested in finding out more about what Christianity is about. The groups start meeting again during the week beginning 8th January as follows:Tuesday 7.30pm at Orchard House, Woodland View, Chilcote DE12 8DPWednesday 2.00pm at Meadow Way, Main Road, Edingale, B79 9HYWednesday 7.30pm at Arundel house, Clement’s Lane, Elford B79 9DHIf you think that Small Groups might be your spiritual lifesaver then why not give them a try?You will be assured of a warm welcome and don’t be afraid that you’ll be asked to sing or pray, or even speak (if you don’t want to). Just come along. Someone will pick you up and take you home if that would help.
