Tamworth Christian Churches.

The Mease Valley Benefice collects food and toiletries all year round for the Tamworth Foodbank. To contribute long life items, drop them off at your nearest church



The Mease Valley Benefice support the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

We held a fund raiser in March 2019 and have this June, been able to collect just over £6000 before gift aid.  You can read about the work of the association below.

Saturday, 21st September – TDCS stall in Tamworth Library 9 a.m. onwards, for Staffordshire History Festival.  (TDCS helpers welcome)
Sunday, 22nd September ( Heritage Open Day) 11.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.  
Stalls and attractions. (TDCS helpers welcome from 10.00 a.m.).
Sunday, 29th September, 2.00 p.m.  – Talk by Dr. Richard Gaunt of Nottingham University for 190th Anniversary of Metropolitan Police Act by Sir Robert Peel.  At Tamworth Town Hall (£5 Members; £7 Non-Members).
Saturday 12th October, 11.00 a.m. -1.00 p.m.  Talk about Warwickshire and Staffordshire Historic Environmental Record (HER) by  Warwickshire County Council HER Manager, at Dordon Village Hall, Browns Lane, Dordon (chargeable)
Friday 1st November, 11.00 a.m.  Talk about William Coltman, V.C. by Tim Coltman. At St. George’s Chapel, Tamworth Parish Church. (chargeable)
Monday, 11th November, 11.30 a.m.  
TDCS Armistice Day Service, Hall of Memory. (FREE to TDCS Members only & invited VIP guests. Limited spaces)
Wednesday, 13th November, 7.00 p.m.  Visit to Defence Medical Services, Whittington Barracks (FREE to TDCS Members only. Limited spaces)
