FUNERALS and prayers for those who are sick

Do you need a priest?

If any family would like pastoral support around the time of a death we are more than ready to be available, please contact a member of our clergy team through:

Rector Reverend, John Grice

Tel: (01827) 373 257 | M0B: 7815 817 095

email: revjohngrice@gmail.com

Funeral services and burials and cremations are usually arranged through a Funeral Director who will contact one of our clergy and liaise with you to find a time and date convenient to all parties.

We are at times able to offer ongoing pastoral support to the bereaved and those whom we meet at funerals. A personal invitation can be extended each year if you like, to those who have experienced loss during that year to our ‘All Souls’ Memorial services at the beginning of November. Some of our churches also have Books of Remembrance in which the details of those who have died can be entered. These will show on the date of death as the pages of the book are turned throughout the year.

Mease Valley Planning a funeral service booklet to help plan a funeral at one of our churches or one of our crematoriums nearby.

A Prayer for today

Eternal God,
you crown the year with your goodness and give us the fruits of the earth in their season: grant that we may use them to your glory, for the relief of those in need and for our own well-being; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you in the  unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
Amen
